Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), is expressing confidence that he’ll be the one to beat in the 2027 presidential election. He’s pointing to his party’s rising popularity and his own leadership skills as key factors that will propel him to victory.
Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) standard-bearer in the 2023 presidential election, made a bold declaration on Saturday while inaugurating the party’s secretariat in Katsina, located along IBB Way.
During a condolence visit to the Yar’adua family in Katsina, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, took a moment to inaugurate the party’s new secretariat along IBB Way, using the occasion to express his confidence in his future political prospects.
Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso asserted that the NNPP has built a formidable momentum, positioning itself to dominate the 2027 elections, with a strong chance of winning the presidency, controlling state governments, and securing various other elective positions.
Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso outlined a clear path to victory for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), asserting that the party is on a trajectory of success, poised to emerge triumphant in the 2027 General Elections.
The Kwankwasiya leader said, “I wish to remind you that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already dead, because we were in the party, since they have gone out of the line, we decided to check out.”

He called on Nigerians, especially women and youths not to allow themselves to be ‘deceived with spaghetti or money during the next elections.’
Kwankwaso also called on the party’s leaders to redouble their commitment towards the success of the party in the state and the country as a whole.
The NNPP leader, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, applauded the stakeholders in Katsina State for their contributions to the party’s growth, particularly the renovation of the state secretariat, which he sees as a key step towards achieving success in the upcoming elections.
The NNPP leader, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, made a compassionate pledge to support Abubakar Ibrahim, a young boy from Yammawa area of Katsina State, who is suffering from severe acute malnutrition, highlighting the party’s dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians.
The NNPP state Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, disclosed that the party is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to raise awareness about its new logo, aiming to familiarize the electorate with the party’s updated branding.
Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, the NNPP state Chairman, explained that the party’s new logo represents the core value of “education for all”, a principle deeply cherished by the Kwankwasiyya leader, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, who is passionate about making knowledge accessible to every citizen.
He suggested that the party should engage in a broad-based awareness drive to familiarize members with the meaning and significance of the new logo.
