Two boys were burnt to death in a fire outbreak that razed an apartment in a military barrack in Delta State on Tuesday.
The Eastern Updates gathered that a girl within the apartment luckily escaped the inferno.
The fire occurred at 3 Battalion, Nigerian Army, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Witnesses who spoke to reporters narrated that one of the deceased kids was a child of an officer at the barracks while the other kid was said to be visiting the family as of the time of the incident.

It was gathered that two of the children are siblings and were fast asleep in a room while the surviving girl was in the other room when the fire broke out in the apartment.
The authorities of the barracks could not be reached for information, but an officer who did not want his name in print, confirmed the incident, saying it happened in the early hours of Tuesday.
‘Three children were involved but one of them was able to escape the mysterious fire which was later put out.
‘One of the children was brought there to spend the weekend,‘ he said.
