The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has hailed the National Youth Service Corps members that served as ad-hoc electoral officials and security agencies in the Anambra governorship election for the role they have played in strengthening democracy in Nigeria.

The vice president of the organisation, Amb. Comrade Akoshile Mukhtar, who gave the commendation in Abuja on Sunday, said the corps members have proven that youths can take charge of any national responsibility assigned to them.
The people of Anambra State on Saturday, 6th of November went to the polls to elect their next governor who would take over from the incumbent, Governor Wilie Obiano from 17th of March, 2022.
