President Bola Tinubu is prepared to swear in seven new ministers at Abuja’s State House Council Chamber on Monday, November 4, 2024, a move that will complete his latest round of appointments to his ministerial cabinet.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, made the disclosure on Sunday via his X account, confirming the date and location of the swearing-in event.
Onanuga said, “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.
“The ministers are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs.

“Others are Dr Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment), Idi Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad – Minister of State Education.
“The Senate cleared the ministers last week.”
President Tinubu approved a broad cabinet overhaul on October 23, reassigning 10 ministers, discharging five, and nominating seven new ministers, whose appointments were sent to the Senate for confirmation proceedings.
On October 31, 2024, the Senate completed its screening procedures and approved each of the seven ministerial nominees, formally adding them to the President’s administration.
