In light of deteriorating relations between Israel and Hezbollah, China has issued a travel warning, instructing its citizens to vacate Israel as quickly as possible. The Iran-backed Lebanese militant group’s escalating rhetoric has sparked fears of an imminent confrontation, prompting Beijing’s precautionary measure.
China’s Israeli embassy cautioned on Sunday that tensions between Israel and Lebanon have reached a critical point, with ongoing military confrontations.
“The security situation in Israel remains severe, complex, and unpredictable,” the statement added.
The Chinese embassy in Israel has advised its citizens to take immediate action and either return to China or seek shelter in safer areas, as tensions in the region continue to escalate.
Israel and Hezbollah remained on a collision course Sunday, issuing stark warnings of heightened cross-border violence, even as international leaders scrambled to broker a peaceful resolution and prevent a catastrophic conflict.

On Friday, an Israeli airstrike pierced the heart of a southern Beirut stronghold, killing Ibrahim Aqil, the revered leader of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, an elite unit instrumental in the group’s military operations.
Lebanon reeled from a barrage of synchronized explosions targeting its communication infrastructure on Tuesday and Wednesday, resulting in 39 deaths and a staggering 3,000 injuries. Israeli involvement was suspected, fueling further tensions.
Following the Israeli strike that eliminated a senior Palestinian militant in Lebanon, China took precautionary measures last month, directing its citizens to depart the country amid heightened risks and regional tensions.
