Jideonwo said apart from the special guests, several captains of commerce and industries would be in attendance.
He said the Chief Executive Officers/Managing Directors of ANNAMCO, EKULU, and M-SALEM among others, would be at the opening ceremony.
The chamber boss noted that the fair would be a beautiful experience for all attendees as the chamber “is throwing its gates open for the first time.”
According to him, this means that there would be no gate fees to access the fairground.
“This is what we have not done in the past 34 years of organising the yearly fair. So, it will be free-of-charge. We are also providing free shuttle buses from the metropolis centre, Shoprite axis, for all attending the fair. These and other conveniences we are providing will translate to more traffic at the fairground, and more money in the pockets of shoppers, as well as subsequent turnover for exhibitors,” he noted.
