Lagos Demolition Pushing Igbos Out Of Nigeria – Kanu’s Lawyer

Aloy Ejimakor who is the special counsel to leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has stated that demolition in Lagos State is making it tough for Igbos to be Nigerians.

Ejimakor made the remark while lamenting over the demolition of properties belonging to Igbos in Lagos State.

He stressed that the demolition in Lagos State is notoriously discriminatory and unjust.

Posting on X, Ejimakor claimed it is a systemic injustice against Igbos.

According to Ejimakor: “The relentless demolition in Lagos is so notoriously discriminatory and unjust, such that it will surely trouble Lagos State with countless scorched-earth litigations.

“For now, it has done so much to add to the systemic injustices that make it very tough for Ndigbo to be Nigerians.”

There have been claims that the Lagos State government is targeting and demolishing markets and areas populated by Igbos.

Also, it was alleged that buildings owned by Igbos were being demolished by the state government.

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike claimed a few days ago that his house was demolished by the Lagos State government despite getting due approval from relevant authorities.
