Senator Samuel Anyanwu has extended his congratulations to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) federal and state lawmakers in Imo State on their successful inauguration. This momentous occasion marks a significant step forward in strengthening democratic governance and representation in our beloved state.
Anyanwu hailed the ‘resilience and dedication of the elected lawmakers who have taken the oath of office, vowing to serve the people of Imo State with integrity, transparency, and utmost commitment.’
He acknowledged the importance of their presence in the hallowed chambers of power, where they will advocate for the interests of their constituents and work towards the advancement of our state.

The PDP governorship candidate said recognized the challenges faced by some of our PDP candidates who are currently in court, seeking to reclaim their mandates.
‘He sends his unwavering support and encourages them to remain hopeful, as justice is the foundation upon which our democratic system rests,’ a media aide to the governor said in a statement. ‘The senator firmly believes that the judiciary will impartially adjudicate these cases, ensuring that the true will of the people is upheld and respected.’
‘He emphasised that the PDP stands united in its commitment to represent the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of the good people of Imo State. He urges party members, supporters, and all well-meaning citizens to rally behind the elected lawmakers, providing them with the necessary support to fulfil their legislative responsibilities and deliver on their campaign promises.’
Anyanwu also appealled for calm and peaceful coexistence among all residents of Imo State and maintained that there was a need for dialogue, understanding, and a shared vision for a better and prosperous Imo.
