May, the wife of Nollywood popular actor, Yul Edochie who had been recently embroiled in controversy over her husband’s second wife has vowed that she would never accept polygamy in her marriage.
In Yul Edochie had on April 27, 2022, presented his second wife, Judy Austin Muoghalu, to the public.

Yul had also described Judy as his second wife while also showing off his son by her.
May, in a statement on social media on Saturday said her ability to accept the situation and tolerate challenges and problems should not be misconstrued.
According to her, it was worthless trying to make an already bad situation worse hence the need to remain calm.
“Beyond all the unnecessary facades, Polygamy is a life choice and no one should be compelled to accept it,” she said.
“It is something I think all parties involved should embrace willingly, and it’s okay for anyone who chooses it. Some religions and traditions allow polygamy and I have nothing against it.
“However, I am ABSOLUTELY certain that I will not be NUMBERED as a wife or be cajoled to accept a practice that does not align with my faith and family values.”
May pointed out that until the second wife saga she had a stable and loving home.
In another report, May Edochie had also revealed how she had survived depression after her husband had publicly taken a second wife in a controversial move.
Recall that Yul Edochie caused controversy online after he had embraced polygamy, announcing the birth of his son with his second wife.
The actor and his second wife, Judy Austin had worked together on several movies which brought their attention to Nigerians. His decision had been widely criticised, however, the actor cum politician insisted that his first wife still remains number one.
Speaking on Facebook live, May disclosed that her decision to dwell on pieces of her once happy marriage and support from family and friends saved her from being depressed.
