The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, has reiterated that the upcoming 2023 general elections will not be based on one turn, ethnicity, or religion in the widest margins.
He made this statement while fielding some questions on Arise Tv Morning Show on Thursday.
The presidential candidate of Labour Party also noted that it would be based on a Nigerian agenda to save the country.

He explained that in 2023 Nigerians must elect a capable candidate to pilot the country’s affairs, saying that primitive considerations by Nigerians during electoral cycles had led Nigeria to the current quagmire. He also stated that Nigeria at the moment needs an expert to save it, he appealed to Nigerians to vote for him as the best man for the job and not because of primitive consideration.
Peter Obi had also reiterated that he doesn’t want Nigerians to vote for him because he is from the South or on a regional basis, stressing that he wants Nigerians to vote for him based on competence and what he can offer Nigerians.
He stressed, “This election will not be based on ‘my turn’, ethnicity, and religion. It will be based on a Nigerian agenda to save this Nigeria. Nigeria is in a coma, and it needs a specialist, and that is why I’m offering to save its life or it will die.
“I’m appealing to people to vote to save Nigeria, and to save Nigeria is to hire the best.”
Controversial ex-militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has expressed a strong belief that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi would not emerge president in 2023, describing him as a scam.
In a live video on his official Facebook page on Tuesday evening which was monitored by The Eastern Updates, the founder of the defunct Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force declared that the ‘Obi-dient’ movement, which is currently going on, is a scam.
Dokubo revealed that it would be impossible for the Labour Party candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

According to him, Peter Obi’s acclaimed achievement in Anambra State while serving as governor of the state were all lies.
