Soludo also expressed deep worry over the spate of attacks carried out across the state between Sunday and Monday.

He frowned on the increasing rate of insecurity across the state in recent times, lamenting that it was happening at a period when his government was already reaching out to critical stakeholders for the restoration of peace and security to the state.

He restated that the current spike in cases of kidnapping and killing of innocent citizens undermined the sanctity of human lives and no one or group had the right to take human life with such gross impunity.

Soludo sympathised with the families of those who had directly or indirectly lost their loved ones and re-assured that the state government was doing everything possible with the security agencies to restore peace and security in the state in accordance with the law.
