Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is currently in a closed-door meeting with the former head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
The Eastern Updates reports that Kalu, a former Governor of Abia State, arrived the residence of Abdulsalami in Minna, Niger State at about 3:30 pm on Monday.
Senator Orji Kalu was immediately ushered into the ex-head of state’s residence where he was received by General Abdulsalami himself.

Kalu and Abdulsalami later proceeded for an indoor meeting which lasted over an hour.
The Chief Whip of the Senate earlier today paid General Ibrahim Babangida a private visit after which he proceeded to Abdulsalami’s residence.
The Eastern Updates had reported how Kalu arrived the power state at exactly 2pm on Monday alongside political friends, associates and retinue of aides.
He is expected to also visit the homes of Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello and Emir, Etsu of Lapai, Niger State during the stay in Minna, the Niger State capital.
