Prof Gregory Ibe who is a member of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Advisory Council, has called on the governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, to utilise his current position as National leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in rebuilding, strengthening, and extending the frontiers of the party to other parts of the country.
Ibe, who gave the advice while congratulating the Anambra State Governor on his 63rd birthday, called on him to use his exalted position as the national leader of APGA in working assiduously with the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party in rebuilding, strengthening, and extending the frontiers of the party to every region and state in the country.
He noted that by strengthening and extending the frontiers of APGA across the nation, the party would enjoy a true nationwide presence, deserving of a national party.
Ibe, who was the APGA governorship candidate in Abia State during the 2023 general elections, described Soludo as a special gift to humanity and prayed for good health for the governor.
In another report, Evang. Chinedu Obigwe who is the National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, has berated those spreading rumours of insecurity in Anambra State insisting that Anambra of today is very well secured under the result-oriented leadership of Governor Soludo.
Obigwe spoke in Awka on Saturday against the backdrop of the pandemonium that ensued in different parts of the state on Friday over the rumoured attack by unknown gunmen enforcing the one-week sit-at-home order by the Simon Ekpa-led group of Biafra agitators.
He pointed out that a lot has really changed in Anambra State for good recalling that when people talk about insecurity in the state, it reminds him of the fact that Governor Soludo was once a victim of gunmen attack prior to the governorship elections but he was undeterred by the incident as he rather went ahead to confront the situation after his swearing-in.
