2023: Nigeria Under A Very Strong Curse – Fr Mbaka

Controversial Catholic Priest and the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev Father Ejike Mbaka has claimed  that Nigeria is under a curse.

Mbaka said Nigeria is cursed with bad leadership.

The Eastern Updates reports that while delivering his first sermon at the Adoration ground on Friday, Mbaka said God has blessed Nigeria with everything despite the curse.

‘Nigeria is blessed with everything but cursed with bad leadership,’ he said.

On his return from the monastery abroad, the priest said 2023 is a year of favour and prayed that his congregation would not labour in vain.

Recall that the outspoken Catholic priest was moved out of the Adoration ministry following his suspension.

Most Rev Callistus Onaga, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, suspended Fr. Mbaka on June 3, 2022, over some political comments.

Recall that Mbaka has two weeks ago returned from the monastery after eight months of suspension.

A video which had circulated online which was obtained by The Eastern Updates showed a crowd welcoming Mbaka at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.

Recall that Enugu Catholic Diocese shut his Adoration Ministry on June 3, 2022, and banned Mbaka from commenting on political issues.

The Church later reopened the ministry and turned it into Chaplaincy to monitor the excesses in the ministry.

Later in October, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, asked Mbaka to proceed to the monastery for more revelations concerning his ministry.
