He said, ‘Your defection and registration into our party has afforded you all the opportunity to be bonafide members of our great party, in no distant time PDP will soon empty itself into APC, I assure you today that every one of you will be carried along in the scheme of things’.

Meanwhile, Governor Uzodimma charged party members to erase the mindset of controlling the party structure and work in service to the people.

According to the Governor, ‘As a family, the structure of the party lies within the people and not any individual. We will continue to integrate processes that would be beneficial to every member of the party and for the interest of the electorates. It is on this premise that the National Leadership of our party directed an open congress and we must adhere to it strictly.’

‘I can go into a room and write a list for you, but I can’t because I want transparency. So if I didn’t do it, please don’t do it. Let transparency rule us.’ Uzodimma stated.
