There is serious confusion as a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Anambra State has elected Senator Ugochukwu Uba as the flag bearer of the party in the November 6 poll.
The returning officer in the election, Obidi Ebede said Uba got 275 votes to defeat his closest rival, Godwin Ezeemo with 114, while Senator Uche Ekwunife scored 56 votes to come third.

He said there were 665 accredited delegates.
The Eastern Updates gathered that the crises and conflicting court orders rocking the party forced some members of the party into holding parallel primaries on Saturday.
