Anambra State governor, Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano has officially flagged off the 2021 wet season farming in Anambra State.
Obiano performed the function at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka yesterday in a well-attended ceremony.

The event which has the theme ‘Empowering the youths in agriculture for sustainable development’, witnessed an agric fair, launching of the compendium, among others.
Speaking during the event, Governor Obiano reminded Ndi Anambra that it will be his last flag off of a farming season as he prepares to leave office next month.
He went further to point out that his administration has succeeded in putting measures in place for sustainable agriculture in the state which the state would remember him for.
