The Eastern Updates has gathered that one of the commanding officers and coordinators of the IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafra) secessionist group, Mazi Kalu Umere Kalu has finally kicked the bucket after giving in to his injuries which he sustained during his altercation with officers of the Nigerian Army.
The news of his death filtered in by 4:00am WAT on Monday, 26th April, 2021.

He reportedly passed on at the Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s Army Barrack in Ohafia, Abia State where he was detained for questioning by the Nigerian Army officials. He had been arrested on the 22nd of April 2021 at Arochukwu local Government Area, Abia State.
