Gov Uzodinma Charges Judiciary On Quick Dispensation Of Justice

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has said that his administration is committed to ensuring that all citizens of the state have easy access to justice, urging the judiciary to step up actions in dispensing quick judgment on inmates.

Uzodinma stated this in Owerri at the launch of Justice Transformation Strategy organised by Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HIIL), Netherlands.

The Governor harped on the need for speedy dispensation of justice in the country, stressing that access to justice for everyone irrespective of social class and political affiliation, should never be compromised.

He disclosed that he would constitute a 7-man committee to work towards ensuring that the average person in the state, especially the rural dwellers, find justice accessible.

According to him, ‘all human beings should indeed have access to justice.’

‘My administration is bent on offering a level playing ground for all and sundry and impacting in the lives of our people.’
