Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma went on a Road construction project inspection around the environs of the state capital, Owerri today.
Posting some of the ongoing road constructions on his verified Facebook page, he commended the contractor on the work he is doing on the MCC Road and the Chukwuma Nwoha Sewage Tunnel by Egbu Road.

In my particular style of seeing things for myself, I embarked on another round of spontaneous inspection of projects around the State, this time, I saw the level of work ongoing on the MCC Road with robust drainages and the Chukwuma Nwoha Sewage Tunnel by Egbu Road.
The flooding and decay of public infrastructures around Owerri, for instance, was screaming when we came into office in January. We have since swung into action and the evidence is everywhere. By the grace of God, we have commissioned a couple of infrastructures, while others are nearing completion and commissioning in no distant time.
The idea is not just to place asphalt on roads and have it washed away by rains in no time. We understand the need for proper earthworks and in most cases, deep excavation of problematic and waterlogged areas.
We are conscious of quality first, and if resources permit, we are poised to extend our hands into more places.
I urge Ndị Imo to follow the journey and support the government for our overall benefit.
