Fernabahce manager, Jose Mourinho has said that Manchester United could still win the 2017-18 Premier League title if the English top-flight league punish Manchester City.
Mourinho guided Manchester United to finish in second position behind Man City during the 2017-18 campaign.
But Man City are currently facing a hearing into over 100 alleged breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules dating back to when Mourinho was in charge of the Red Devils.

Mourinho feels United could be handed the title if City is found guilty and punished by the Premier League.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Fernabahce’s Europa League clash with Man United on Thursday, Mourinho said:
“I think Man Utd still have a chance to win that league [2017/18 season] if they punish Manchester City.
“In that case, I hope they give me my medal and pay me the bonus.”
In other news, Luka Modric, 39, became the oldest player to ever feature for the Real Madrid football club as his side beat Celta Vigo in La Liga.
The Croatian provided the assist for Vinicius Jr’s match-winning goal soon after coming on as a second-half substitute, and helped guide Real to victory in a tough encounter.
Real are now level on points with Barcelona – who play Sevilla at 20:00 BST on Sunday – at the top of Spain’s top flight but trail them on goal difference and have played a game more.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti called Modric a “top professional and a great guy”.
“It’s a pleasure to coach Modric, to work with him. Everything he’s been able to achieve and is achieving, he deserves,” Ancelotti told Real Madrid TV.
They went ahead after just 20 minutes thanks to a wonderful long-range strike by Kylian Mbappe, who took one touch and whipped the ball into the top corner after a pass from Eduardo Camavinga.
