President Bola Tinubu will swear in the seven newly appointed ministers on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this on his official X account on Sunday.
Onanuga stated that the planned inauguration followed the Senate’s confirmation of the seven ministerial nominees last week.

The new ministers and their portfolios include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as Minister of Labour & Employment, and Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Also joining the Tinubu administration are Dr. Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
In another news, Oladele Oyelude, who serves as the Director-General of the Tinubu-Shettima Ambassadors—a campaign group that championed President Bola Tinubu’s candidacy in the 2023 general elections—has confidently claimed that any attempts to leverage the North’s opposition to the tax reforms bill to sow discord against Tinubu in the lead-up to the 2027 elections will be futile.
In his capacity as a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Oyelude recommended that those who disagree with the bill should utilize their National Assembly members to articulate their opposition and influence the legislative process.
While speaking to the press in Osogbo on Saturday, the APC chieftain articulated that the tax reforms bill would facilitate national growth by placing pressure on governors to pursue aggressive revenue generation. He noted that the National Assembly could address any grey areas within the bill as they deliberate its contents.
