Chairman Ajah Chinonso of Ohaozara Local Government Area in Ebonyi State lauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing Chief David Umahi, the immediate past Governor of the State, as minister designate.
Speaking of Umahi’s appointment, Ajah praised it as a well-suited choice and pointed out that the Senator from Ebonyi South Senatorial district would prove highly capable if assigned to the Works portfolio.
He substantiated his claim by referencing Umahi’s remarkable track record in infrastructure development while serving as Governor of Ebonyi State.
He commended the state Governor, Francis Nwifuru, for the splendid reception organized by the state government to honour Umahi on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Aja made this statement while addressing the press in Abakaliki.
He assured his commitment to provide ongoing support to the administration of Governor Nwifuru.
He further applauded the state Governor’s thoughtful choice to build a road connecting to the residence of late Senator Anyim Ude, a revered founding figure of the state and veteran Journalist who was laid to rest the previous week.
He also lauded the Governor for the support he generously extended to the late Ude family and the Presbyterian church in Iyioji, Akaeze, Ivo local government area of the state, which was the spiritual home of the late Ude until his passing.
