Ukraine fired six American-supplied ATACMS ballistic missiles at Russia’s Bryansk region, Moscow said Tuesday, in what would be Kyiv’s first use of the weapons inside Russia in 1,000 days of war.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference at the G20 summit in Brazil that Russia “will be taking this as a qualitatively new phase of the Western war against Russia”, adding that Moscow will “react accordingly”.
