In a lengthy statement, Governor Soludo alleged that Obi is only playing a game.

Part of his statement read, “Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win.

“He knows the game he is playing, and we know too; and he knows that we know.

“Everyone knows that he is going nowhere, but they are looking for who to blame.”

He further added that only two persons/parties are in contention for president.

While wishing him well, Soludo said he prays Obi or Prof Umeadi of APGA would win.

In another report, some yet-to-be-identified gunmen attacked the Isuofia community of Aguata Local Government Area, where the governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo hails from in the early hours of Saturday.

The Eastern Updates gathered from very credible sources that no fewer than two soldiers and four of the attacking hoodlums died in a fierce gun battle between the gunmen and soldiers stationed in the community.

According to a source, the hoodlums first attacked the soldiers at an army checkpoint and killed two of them before the army personnel gave them a chase and neutralised four of the assailants in the process.

Ikenga said Police operatives have been deployed to the scene, and that normalcy has been restored in the area, while Nwosu urged Indigenes to alert security officials when they notice security breaches.
