President Donald Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, says illegal immigrants in the United States are left with only two choices.

In a post on his verified X handle on Monday, Miller urged the illegal aliens to leave the country and receive an exit bonus from the Trump administration.

He, however, said that those who fail to leave may be forced to pay $100,000 fines daily and face prosecution and imprisonment.

The post reads, “The choice facing illegals: Leave now and get free flight + exit bonus

“Refuse to leave and face a fine of 1K daily, prosecution and imprisonment, forfeiture of all assets, garnishment of all wages, confiscation of all property, deportation whenever and wherever we choose.”

The Eastern Updates earlier reported that the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), on Monday, concluded plans to pay for the commercial flights of illegal immigrants who self-deport from the US.

DHS also promised to pay the illegal immigrants an additional $1,000 once they are confirmed to have left the United States.

In other news, President Donald Trump has said he would extend the June 19 deadline for China-based ByteDance to divest the United States assets of TikTok, the short video app used by 170 million Americans, if no deal had been reached by then.

“I would … I would like to see it done,” Trump told the NBC News program ‘Meet the Press with Kristen Welker’ in an interview taped on Friday and aired across the US on Sunday.

Trump said he had a “sweet spot” for TikTok after the app helped him win over young voters during last year’s US presidential election.

According to him, “TikTok is – it’s very interesting, but it will be protected”.

In April, Trump extended the deadline for the sale by two months and 15 days, in a bid to find a non-Chinese buyer.

But a potential deal to sell TikTok was scuttled because of Trump’s tariffs on China.

Trump, however, told NBC there may not be a need for another reprieve.
