The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State has said that President Bola Tinubu has approved a plan for the party to win the state in the 2025 governorship.
Mr. Chidi Duru made this known during a Christmas party organised for officials of the party at all level by a stakeholder of the party, Mr. Paul Chukwuma.
Duru said that the winning plan was revealed by the National Chairman of APC, Mr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, during a stakeholders’ meeting Tinubu held with leaders of the party from Anambra State in Abuja, recently.
He said: ‘APC is ready to take over Anambra State. Feel free to invite your friends to APC. The train is about to leave the station and we don’t want anyone to be left behind.

‘A lot of new things are already happening in our party. We all need to work together to take Anambra in the next election. We have men who are willing to work, and the party is also prepared.
‘The national chairman of our party has shared plans with us. The president is also optimistic. The reward system in APC is about to be activated, and people will be rewarded according to what they put in.’
Speaking on the distribution of cash various amount of cash and 800 bags of rice by Chukwuma, the gesture is part of the reward system which the party had activated.
In his brief address, the Anambra State Chairman of APC, Mr. Basil Ejidike, appealed to other wealthy members of APC in the state to emulate Chukwuma, saying, such gesture had never been done in the state.
He noted that the gesture would strengthen peace and unity among members in Anambra and beyond.
