Esiaga who queried the merit in Senator Chris Adighije-led Reconciliation Committee for Abia, lamented that the committee was dominated by individuals loyal to Chief Ikechi Emenike.

He said APC may lose Abia in 2023 with Ikechi Emenike as the governorship candidate.

He informed the national office of APC that Dr Uche Ogah, the former minister of State for Mines and Steel was best positioned to win the State for APC, based on his spread and acceptability.

In another report, The opposition party in Imo State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed that the administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma has approached its expiry date and must give way to a PDP led-administration while accusing it of sponsoring a protest in the state against them.

The opposition party alleged that the Imo State government through its sponsored protest is trying to hoodwink the people and divert attention from the woes and infamies of the wobbling regime.
