All Progressives Congress (APC) has said Anambra State will be next after winning the governorship election in Ondo State.
The party in Anambra State, through its Publicity Secretary, Okelo Madukaife, in a statement yesterday congratulated Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for emerging victorious.

It said: ‘Anambra State elections will be next after Ondo. Hence, while we call on Governor Akeredolu to use the second term to consolidate the gains of the last four years and incubate new initiatives, we call on Ndi Anambra to give the Southeast gateway a chance to benefit from those in Ondo and other states, whose wise choice offered opportunities for the practical programmes of APC to take root in their land.’
‘Anambra State can build on the vast cache of roads, air and sea ports, railways and other infrastructures to transform into its real worth, in a robust teamwork led by an APC government.’
‘Once again, we congratulate the good people of Ondo State for their wise choice and urge Governor Akeredolu to continue to place the interest of the people foremost in future strides of his government.’
APC hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a free, fair and credible election in Ondo State last Saturday.
