Carlo Ancelotti, head coach of the Brazilian national football team, has named the two countries he would like to see play in the final of next year’s FIFA World Cup tournament.
The 2026 World Cup will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico in June and July.
Argentina are the current holders of the competition, having won the last edition in Qatar.
However, Ancelotti said he would like Brazil and Italy to meet in the final of the 2026 World Cup.

The Italian said, via Calciomercato: “The dream is to make Brazil win the sixth World Cup. There are great expectations, but also great enthusiasm. The fact that they have not won for 24 years weighs heavily.
“We hope it doesn’t become 28! We want to win, and we don’t hide it. I would like a final between Brazil and Italy, it would be beautiful for me on an emotional level.”
Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, has questioned Barcelona’s maturity after they lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in a tense El Clásico clash on Sunday.
Wenger described the match as “men against boys”.
Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring before Fermin López equalised for Barça. Jude Bellingham then tapped home the winner to ensure Madrid moved five points clear at the top of La Liga.
“Xabi Alonso balanced his team well today,” Wenger said on beIN Sports.
“Overall, I would say that it was a bit like men against boys in some departments.
“The defensive performance of Real Madrid was much stronger than the defensive performance of Barcelona.”
