The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Monday disclosed that agents of President Bola Tinubu will ensure that his Renewed Hope mandate for the FCT is achieved.
Wike disclosed this while noting that Abuja will become a world class city under Tinubu’s administration.
He spoke during the flag off of the construction of Access Roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in Mabushi District, Abuja.
”We give God Almighty appreciation to be here to construct the all important road, in terms of infrastructure, Abuja would compete with other known cities of the world.

”Lets continue to thank Mr President for the love, for his commitment to make our city capital to what it’s called city capital, so our is to encourage our people to make sure that everything Mr President has outlined is concluded through your support.
”We as agents are here to implement what’s Mr President mission and vision, what the renewed Hope agenda has for the people of Nigeria and in particular the Federal Capital territory
”So many people have accused us of constructing roads. I said that’s one thing good, at least you have identified that something is going on,” the minister said.
In other news, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has set conditions for joining the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Kwankwaso said there must be tangible benefits for NNPP members before he would agree to a merger or to join the APC.
Speaking when he received Buhari Bakwana, a former political adviser to ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, alongside APC members drawn from the 44 local government areas of Kano State, at his Miller Road residence in Kano, Kwankwaso stressed that there must be strong assurances, insisting he would not allow himself to be used and dumped again.
Kwankwaso, however, said he remained open to joining the APC.
