Tottenham Hotspur have entered discussions with the representatives of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman as the Premier League club weighs a late move before the transfer window closes.
Lookman, 27, scored 20 goals in all competitions for Atalanta last season and has attracted interest from several European clubs this summer. A proposed move to Inter Milan has stalled, creating an opening for Tottenham to pursue the forward.
TEAMtalk reported that Tottenham have intensified contact with Lookman’s camp to assess the feasibility of a transfer. The outlet said the player has now become one of the club’s leading options for attacking reinforcements.

Manager Thomas Frank is understood to view the forward as a strong addition to his system and has approved efforts to bring him to north London. Tottenham had previously explored deals for Eberechi Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White without success, and the club is now targeting multiple options to avoid being left short in attack.
Journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed that Spurs’ interest in Lookman is running in parallel with talks for RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons. Both players are seen as potential additions in wide and attacking midfield positions.
Tottenham are expected to continue negotiations in the coming days as the transfer deadline approaches. Lookman, who joined Atalanta in 2022, has two years left on his current contract with the Serie A club.
At least three Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.
According to Fabrizio Romano, although none of the clubs have made a formal bid for Rodrygo, Real Madrid are open to letting the Brazilian leave this summer.
Rodrygo was an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Osasuna on Tuesday night.
