At least three Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.
According to Fabrizio Romano, although none of the clubs have made a formal bid for Rodrygo, Real Madrid are open to letting the Brazilian leave this summer.
Rodrygo was an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Osasuna on Tuesday night.
However, he was handed his first start for the Blancos against Oviedo on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Como’s Nico Páz this summer.
Tottenham are keen to bolster their squad after missing out on the signing of Eberechi Eze to Arsenal.
Spurs hope to secure Páz’s signature, as the attacking midfielder is crucial to Como, while Real Madrid retain control over the player.
It is recalled that Real Madrid have a €10m buy-back clause on Páz for next summer.
The first week of the Premier League continued on Saturday, with Manchester City going top thanks to a 4-0 demolition of Wolves.
Pep Guardiola’s men endured a miserable season last season and barely finished third, after failing to win any silverware.
But City have now begun this term in emphatic fashion, thanks to an Erling Haaland brace and debut goals from Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki.
They are ahead of Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur on the table, with both teams winning 3-0 against West Ham and Burnley respectively.
Newcastle were held to a 0-0 draw by 10-man Aston Villa in the early kick off, while Rodrigo Muniz scored a late equalizer as Fulham played out a 1-1 draw at Brighton.
Tomorrow, Arsenal travel to Manchester United, while Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace.
European champions Paris Saint-Germain began the new season by lifting more silverware on Wednesday as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-3 on penalties in the UEFA Super Cup after producing a late comeback to draw the match 2-2.
