A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has lambasted a cross section of Nigerians delighted by the unfortunate demise of former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The Easterm Updates reports that Nigerians have been expressing a divergent view on the death of the former leader.
Those who are elated by the sad development accused Buhari of impoverishing Nigerians during his reigns as the country’s president.
The Easterm Updates reports that there were jubilations in some quarters on Sunday shortly after Buhari’s demise was announced by President Bola Tinubu’s media aide Bayo Onanuga.

Reacting, Igbokwe in a post on his official Facebook account wondered why the late former president deserves such a treatment from the people he governed.
According to Igbokwe, people are mocking the dead as if they will not die, describing the attitude as stupidity.
He wrote, “Our stupidity is getting to the point of no return. We have just added another terrible character to our tradition by mocking the dead as if we will live for 1000 years.
“I pray that even this ugly and horrible behavior will pass away”.
The remains of the president are expected to arrive in Nigeria for his immediate burial in Daura, Katsina State on Tuesday, today.
In other news, Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has disclosed how the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, allegedly annoyed the late President Muhammadu Buhari.
Posting on X, the activist lawyer wrote: “Nothing annoyed the late Buhari more than that rumour started by Nnamdi Kanu that he was already dead.
“That was the reason they went all out to hunt him down in kenya and practically abducted him unconstitutionally.
