The Kano State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has ramped up its efforts against drug-related crimes, carrying out extensive raids in well-known drug hubs across the city in a bid to curb illicit activities.

The crackdown led to the arrest of 18 suspects and the seizure of substantial quantities of illegal drugs.

Addressing the latest crackdown, NDLEA Public Relations Officer Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari reaffirmed the agency’s unwavering commitment to its mission of tackling drug-related crimes and ensuring a safer society

“This operation is part of our ongoing efforts to rid Kano of drug-related crimes. We stormed these identified hotspots and successfully apprehended suspects in possession of illicit substances, including Cannabis Sativa and Rubber Solution,” he stated
