President Tinubu Appoints Seven New Directors For NTA

President Bola Tinubu has on Friday appointed seven new executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.

This was confirmed in a press release which had been signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The president re-appointed Ayo Adewuyi as the Executive Director, News.

Others include:

Ibrahim Aliyu — Executive Director, Special Duties

Muhammed Mustapha — Executive Director, Administration and Training.

Mrs Apinke Effiong — Executive Director, Finance. She is an expert in financial marketing with treasury, management accounting and reporting skills.

Mrs Tari Taylaur — Executive Director, Programme. The appointee is an audio/visual creator, producer and showrunner.

Mr Sadique Omeiza — Executive Director, Engineering.

Mrs Oluwakemi Fashina — Executive Director, Marketing. She is an integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer.

In other news, the Presidency has on Thursday confirmed that the Nigerian President Bola Tinubu will soon reshuffle his 47-man cabinet.

It, however, explained that the exercise, which may be carried out before or after Independence Day on October 1, will be evidence-based as President Tinubu will be aided in his decision by public opinions that have been empirically extracted.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made this known while addressing newsmen at the State House, Abuja.

Onanuga, who was in company with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, O’tega Ogra, said there is no timeline to when President Tinubu will reshuffle his cabinet which was inaugurated in August 2023.

He disclosed that the president had indicated his plan to reshuffle his cabinet, but said he could not be categorical about when he will do it.
