As the threat of industrial action looms large, Minister Festus Keyamo has intervened, urging aviation unionists to exercise restraint as the Federal Government works towards a comprehensive solution that harmonizes its fiscal priorities with the operational demands of the sector.

Just a Day Ago, the Union Condemned the Ongoing 50% Revenue Deductions from Aviation Agencies
The Union’s Concerns Extend to Five Key Agencies: Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, and Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau
The deductions are already taking a devastating toll on the agencies, the Union said.
The Aviation Unions, Including NATE, ANAP, NAAPE, AUPCTRE, and ATSSSAN, have formed a unified coalition to stage a nationwide protest, demanding the government’s immediate reversal of the deduction decision.
Minister Keyamo has shown a willingness to listen, acknowledging the unions’ worries about the 50% deduction and promising to work towards a swift and fair resolution.
