Abia-born music star, Ukariwe Njoku, professionally known as, Drumsticks Sunny Spaco, has heaped praises on the senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, for offering the people with what he described as effective representation since 2019.

He also hailed the lawmaker for his service to the state during his tenure as governor, noting that his achievements were still in Abia years after he left office.

He spoke during ABN TV’s popular programme, “Youth Rendezvous,” where he equally noted that no politician in Abia North can match the record of Sen. Kalu if for any reason he decides not to seek re-election into the senate in the coming years.

“If for any reason he decides to rest in 2027 or contest for the presidency, I have not seen anybody from Abia North that will match OUK.

“I want to say this to all younger politicians, if you want to lead in 2027, you have to follow the ways of Dr. Orji Kalu. I want to say congratulations to him once more and encourage him to keep doing more,” he said.

The music star who has won back-to-back the Ohafia Got Talent Show also urged other senators from Abia State to take after the footsteps of Sen. Kalu and build roads, water projects, and health facilities that will enhance the lives of their people.

In another report, some yet-to-be-identified gunmen have killed no fewer than four people in Abacheke, a community in Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, south-east Nigeria.

Residents of the community told newsmen that the gunmen attacked the community yesterday evening.

One of the sources, who preferred anonymity for safety reasons, said the armed men entered the community on three motorcycles.

“They were many. But I can’t say the exact number. They were wearing army uniforms and facemasks,” he said.

The police spokesperson in Imo State, Henry Okoye, confirmed the attack and killing in a statement on Saturday.
