When contacted the police public relations officer, Henry Okafor, stressed that the command will leave no stone unturned, so as to arrest the suspects.

Recall that gunmen intensified their nefarious activities in Imo State when they set a woman, Grace Ngwu, on fire at Amagu, Ihube, in Okigwe Local Government Area of the state.

The Eastern Updates reports that also razed in the attack were houses of the Imo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Emeka Okoronkwo, and the country home of former commissioner for information during Rochas Okorocha’s tenure, Professor Nnamdi Obiaraeri, who also served as commissioner for land and urban planning during Chief Ikedi Ohakim’s administration.

The hoodlums were said to have moved to the home of a retired Director of State Services (DSS), Emeka Ngwu, at about 5. 30am same day where the woman believed to be a relation of the retired DSS official was burnt beyond recognition.
