The Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, VON, Osita Okechukwu, has offered nights into his main reason for supporting the All Progressives Congress, APC, and presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
According to the APC chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, while speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Monday which was monitored by The Eastern Updates said he cannot afford to lose his position as the DG of VON.
Okechukwu said, ‘Do not forget that we still control the greatest structure of 176,846 polling units. Some of us are working down at the ward level.’

‘Do you think I want to lose my little office as the DG of Voice of Nigeria? I am working day and night to get APC at my ward to scale, as also other appointees. Out of 469 members of the national assembly, we have the majority. That is why I am telling them there is no need to overdrive. The election is for us to win – Asiwaju has nothing to fear; that is my position.
‘We have all the apparatus for winning an election any day, anytime.’
