Controversial political critic, Adamu Garba who was also a former All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, has reiterated why he thinks that Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate is unable to label the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as terrorists.

Garba had claimed Peter Obi cannot call IPOB a terrorist group because it may terribly have a bad effect his 2023 presidential ambition.

In a tweet, Garba said Obi should call a press conference and declare IPOB a terrorist organization.

According to Garba: “To disprove Miyetti Allah, Peter Obi should go to Arewa House, organize a media conference & categorically call IPOB as terrorists that they are, like all senior political leaders from the North called Boko Haram and Bandits as terrorists.

“Alas, he may not do that. Don’t blame them.”

The former Anambra State governor has been criticized for keeping silent over IPOB’s activities. But, Obi’s running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, had dismissed such claims, stressing that the LP presidential candidate is not in support of IPOB.

In another report, Controversial Senator, Dino Melaye who is also the spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council has come out to reiterate his earlier claims that it is not yet the time for Peter Obi of the Labour Party to become the president of Nigeria, while asking the majority of Nigerians to ignore the euphoria on social media.

He had made this statement while he had been speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday. Melaye had also stuck to his claims that that Peter Obi did not possess what it takes to unify Nigeria, while reiterating that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate is the only one with that capacity.

According to him, supporters of Obi were mere noise makers who were only creating euphoria on social media, but that they did not have the strength to win the 2023 election. Melaye maintained that Atiku had engaged in interactions with Nigerians and he is confident of winning.
