The House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia State, Dr. Daniel Okeke has expressed optimism that with High Chief Ikechi Emenike as the party’s governorship candidate in Abia, the party will secure victory and end the 24 years of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) misrule in the state.
Okeke pointed out that with the support of majority of Abians which Emenike enjoys, he wields the appeal and experience to lead the state to greater heights
‘We all know that Emenike enjoys the support of a majority of Abians; aside that, he wields the appeal and experience to lead the state to greater heights.
‘There is no doubt that the PDP government has not really done well. Everybody is yearning for change and that time has come. If we don’t change the leadership now, there is no other better time to do that,” Okeke said.
He said the entire Arochukwu local government was agog to receive the governorship candidate of the party when he visited, which he said was a sign of acceptability.
‘They saw the High Chief Emenike they have heard about over the years. They were convinced, they saw a gentleman, a straightforward person, somebody who has vision, a talented person, an economist per excellence who wants to redeem Abia from where it is now,’ Okeke added.
