Ahead 2023 presidential election, there’s a groundswell of opinion that suggest the next president should necessarily be of Igbo extraction, a rational attempt at giving the southeast a deserved equity in the Nigerian project. Former governor of Imo State and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Rochas Okorocha who had previously indicated an interest in the top seat has once again revealed his stance on the race for the Presidential seat.
Addressing worshippers today during a Sunday service at the Freedom Faith Assembly, in the Imo State capital in Owerri, Imo State. Senator Owelle Rochas talked about how he turned Imo State into a great economic hub which it is today. He also talked about how he revolutionalised the Governmental system in the State.
Speaking further, he talked about how as a Christian, he was a staunch believer in God which drives most of his actions in politics. He also revealed that he likes to do good to people because whenever he does good it always finds a way to get back to him.
He also made the declaration that he had not given up on his ambition to run for presidency later in his career while citing that he is well determined for that and that he has also garnered enough support as regards that.
He ended his speech with some additional sermons, praise songs and prophecies while praising the head pastor on the good job he is doing in the church.
