ORAUSA Youths Laud SA Diaspora For Support

We have just completed our first ORAUSA Youths/Young Adults Zoom Video Conferencing! Kudos to our youths and young adults for all your hard work. You guys ROCK!

I want to start by thanking my family and friends for their endless support, patience, and limitless love.

On behalf of the youths and young adults, I want to thank everyone for your participation. Thank you to Chief Colet Odenigbo for getting us presenters from his office. Thank you to all the presenters and the panelists for bringing their expertise and experience. Your presentations and inputs were engaging, fruitful, and constructive.

I want to thank ORAUSA executives led by Chief Tony Okpara, ABOD members, especially those present led by Sir Chris Anyaibe, the women especially those present, led by Lolo Chinwe Okpara, and all other parents that were on the call yesterday to support our youths and young adults.

I also thank the Special Adviser to the Governor (His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma) on Diaspora Affairs Mrs. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert, for joining on short notice. As predicted, NEPA did not disappoint😒. We are looking forward to working with her in the future.

Congratulations to Ms. Nneka Anunobi for winning this year’s 2020 ORAUSA New Generation Award. Thank you for your contributions to the Youths/Young Adults program.
For those of you who were nominated for this award, as well as all other youths, please continue doing great things.

Many of you asked how they can donate or subscribe to the Youths/Young Adults Telegram, please visit our website https://www.orausayouths.us/. The Donate and the Subscribe options are available for your convenience. Please know that our donors are our sponsors, and we display sponsor names on our website.

So how did the July 11, 2020, Youths/Young Adults Zoom Video Conferencing go? I will put it this way, if at the end of a 6-hours Zoom Video Conference and a child asks, “So when is the next one?” the word “Great” will come to mind. You at that point will know that the future of the ORAUSA Youths/Young Adults Program is looking brighter😀.

The PowerPoint presentation and the Graduating youths/Young Adults Video will be made available on this platform, and on our website.

I hope you all remain safe.

Sincerely,
Ijeoma Eze-Adenka
ORAUSA National Youth Director
