Serie A giants Juventus have lined up Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as an alternative to Victor Osimhen.
Juventus hold a firm interest in Osimhen, who is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent transfer this summer.
The powerful striker is currently on loan at Turkish Süper Lig champions, Galatasaray.
Juventus are looking to revamp their attack, with the expected departure of Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani.
Osimhen has a €75 million release clause, which the Old Lady may not be able to afford.
Clubs across Europe and Asia are also pushing to sign the Nigeria international.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus could look to sign Boniface instead of their main target.
Other targets include Lois Openda, Georges Mikautadze, and Arnaud Kalimuendo.
Liverpool resumed their march to a second Premier League title on Sunday with a 2-1 victory over West Ham United as Mohamed Salah broke the record for most goal involvements in a season.
Virgil Van Dijk scored a late winner to end the match.
After West Ham had scored an equaliser in the 86th minute, skipper Van Dijk grabbed the winner with a header three minutes later in front of the Kop to put Liverpool two wins away from the title.
The result gave Liverpool a 13-point lead over second-placed Arsenal in the standings with six games left, while West Ham are 17th with 35 points, 14 points from the relegation zone.
